CIVIL DEFENSE : Very good catchy 1983 punk tunes with a melodic orientation + catchy songs. Efficient side A but the last two tracks of the side B are average, not bad but the energy is missing definitely! Anyway, cool US punk release by this, still obscure, band from Saint Paul, Minnesotta. Last thing : On discogs, contributors added "new wave" style ??? I have further doubts - It's medium-speed punk for the whole 12", with an evident strong power pop touch for the last two songs of side B... But where is the new wave ?? I'm maybe deaf... or some people don't really play their records!
